In July 2022, Go Drones set to the sky for the Ogden Rodeo Drone Show. This renowned rodeo in Ogden, Utah, completed its 5-day event with 100 drones.
For 88 years, the Ogden Pioneer Days have delivered the type of blood-pumping, hand-slapping, adrenaline-soaked good times that can appeal to all ages. The rodeo competitions will keep you entertained all day, whether you want to witness the thrill of bull riding or the excitement of calf roping. The Ogden Rodeo is nationally recognized as among the top 5 PRCA rodeos.
In an unexpected twist, this year’s Ogden Rodeo provided a new form of entertainment for the 20,000 fans that attended. As the final day of the rodeo ended, the fan’s attention was directed to the sky. This is when began the Ogden Rodeo Drone Show.
The stadium lights began to diminish as the sun set on this historic event. The crowd gasped as they saw hundreds of drones lighting up the sky. These drones started to create multiple images in the sky, telling a story like never before and creating an awe-inspiring spectacle to end the notorious five-day event. A bucking horse, wagon, and many other images lit the sky.
This performance galvanized the Ogden Pioneer Days as a highlight of 2022. We loved performing for the nearby cities’ fans, riders, and spectators. This show wasn’t Go Drone’s first rodeo, and it won’t be our last!
