The Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Drone light shows are spectacular, individually illuminated, synchronized, and choreographed groups of drones that arrange themselves into various aerial formations in the sky. Almost any image can be recreated in the sky by a computer program that turns graphics into flight commands and communicates them to the drones, showcasing a visual spectacle, unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Our drone light shows are made to be simple to add to your event. We meet with you to get a better grasp of what you are wanting to see. After that, we come out for a site visit for logistic testing. We will also handle all needed paperwork associated with the drone show. Once that has been done, we meet with you to storyboard the creative designs you would like to see. After our designers have created the show, we send the show file for your review.

When we arrive for the day of the event, we set up everything needed for the show prior to our predetermined launch time. When the time comes, we launch the show and watch as all the hard work pays off and you get to experience a one of a kind visual experience in the sky.

Our drones are custom-built by our partners at Verge Aero. The drones we use are the Aero-X1.

In many cases, the answer is yes. It is ultimately determined by the number of drones and their availability.

Weather can be a factor for drone light shows. However, our drones are super robust. They can withstand winds up to 30mph, rain, and snow. As you may wonder, they are not waterproof but highly water resistant.

Regarding the comparison between drones and fireworks, drones have a slight advantage. GO Drones can use drones in areas with burn bans that would prohibit the use of fireworks. Drones are also entirely custom in the designs that fly. Whether for a music festival, sporting event, wedding, or corporate event, we can tell a story that takes the audience on a journey with a message. Unfortunately, fireworks aren’t able to achieve this level of innovation.

Our drone shows designs are 100% customizable. That said, we can create and project images you desire to see.

A typical drone show is up to 12 minutes.

We can launch from any flat surface, whether it may be a parking lot, grass, the top of a parking garage, etc.
